Overland Initial Drilling Confirms Strong Uranium Potential
Highlights:
Initial drilling progress: First four Air Core (AC) drill holes, totaling 640 meters, completed at the first target of AR3’s Overland Project, a new frontier uranium play in South Australia
Target stratigraphy intersected: All holes intersected thick sequences of Murray group stratigraphy containing interbedded sands and clays. These display all the attributes required for pathways for uranium bearing groundwaters and for hosting uranium mineralisation.
Preliminary results indicate presence of uranium: All drill holes have returned anomalous downhole natural gamma readings and portable X-ray fluorescence (pXRF)[1] results, indicating the presence of uranium and confirming the area’s prospectivity.
Next steps: Currently drilling Target 2 focusing on the Murray Group and Renmark Group sediments. Planning Target 1 follow-up drilling.
